No one is doing doing more to help American consumers with their financial health than credit unions. To support our clients with the tools they need to support their membership's financial wellness we are pleased to introduce Julep.

Americans spend almost $3 billion annually on personal financial management applications and advice. Despite all those tools, consumer finances are under duress:  little or no savings, living paycheck-to-paycheck, crushing credit card and student debt, and unprepared for retirement.  This has created an environment in which money is the single biggest source of stress for 2 out of 3 consumers.

Julep, a new mobile application designed to promote Financial Wellness among consumers by blending financial education content with financial psychology, all in an approachable, non-judgmental, easy-to-use manner. Topics included in Julep's teachings include:

  • The problem:  US household finances are fragile, and consumers cite money as their single biggest source of stress
  • Why existing PFM solutions don’t work
  • Julep’s approach, features, and benefits
  • How your credit union can offer Julep to your members

Lee Manfred, Julep’s Founder and CEO, is a former partner at First Annapolis Consulting and has presented to MAP’s Board on several occasions.
